What to do for your pet before surgery
Drop off is at 8:00AM. There will be an admission form to fill out, so for everyone's safety, please leave pets in the car until the check-in process is complete and staff tells you to bring your pet in.
Please bring proof of rabies vaccination with you the day of surgery. Proof is a rabies certificate. A rabies tag alone is not proof. If you do not have a rabies certificate, your pet will be given a 1-year rabies vaccination for $10.
Do not give your pet ANYTHING to eat after 9:00PM the night before the surgery. This includes bones, rawhides, treats, etc. Your pet can continue to have water.
On the day of surgery, cats should be brought into the clinic in a carrier. If you are bringing in multiple cats, each cat needs to have its own carrier. All dogs should be on leashes.
What to do when surgery is done
Dogs may be picked up the same day of surgery at 3:30PM. You must be at the clinic by 3:30pm to hear post-op instructions. If you are late, you will have to wait until 4:00pm. If you do not arrive by 4:30PM to pick up your dog, you will have to pick up your dog the following day at anytime before 4:30PM.
Cats may be picked up the same day as surgery at 4:30PM. You must be at the clinic by 4:20pm to hear post-op instructions. If you do not arrive by 5:00PM to pick up your cat, you will have to pick up your cat the following day at anytime before 4:30PM.
A boarding fee of $10 will be charged for any animal not picked up by 4:30PM the same day of surgery.
If an animal stays at the clinic for more than 3 days after surgery, the animal will be considered abandoned by the owner.
