On one of the coldest days in February just before it began to snow, one of our volunteers found two medium sized dogs huddled in the cold. One of the dogs had a large wound on her muzzle and was pregnant. The volunteer gained their trust and brought them to the clinic. That night Valerie, gave birth to Romeo, Casanova, and Teddy (Bear). We can't help but wonder if these sweethearts would have made it, if they hadn't been helped. Our clinic took care of Valerie and her puppies and they have been selected for a transport. Veronica, Valerie's sister, was given medical assistance and is available for adoption.
